Cannabinoids

CBC

CBC (Cannabichromene) is a non-psychoactive cannabinoid found in the cannabis plant. It is a phytocannabinoid, meaning it is naturally produced by the plant, that has shown potential therapeutic benefits such as anti-inflammatory properties, anti-cancer effects, anti-convulsant properties, anti-bacterial properties, and pain-relieving effects.

CBD  

CBD (cannabidiol) is the most researched cannabinoid and is found abundantly in hemp. It is non-intoxicating and has been found to help with various conditions, including anxiety, chronic pain, epilepsy, inflammation, and has shown to suppress appetite. CBD produces a mellow effect and can combat the effects of feeling “too high” from THC. 

CBG 

CBG (cannabigerol) is a non-psychoactive compound found in cannabis that is known as “the mother of all cannabinoids,” as it is the cannabinoid from which other cannabinoids are derived. CBG has shown potential benefits in helping with chronic pain due to its anti-inflammatory and neuroprotective properties. It has also been shown to aid in sleep, stimulating appetite, and relieving anxiety and pain from eye pressure. 

CBN 

CBN (cannabinol) is a sedating cannabinoid that promotes drowsiness and aids in sleep. It has also shown anti-inflammatory and neuroprotective properties which are useful in treating painful conditions, such as fibromyalgia and ALS.

Types of Extracts 

Badder 

Badder, or batter, is a form of cannabis concentrate with a whipped consistency, much like cake batter. It is like budder extract but is thicker and stickier than budder and ranges from a bright to a deep golden tone. 

Bubble Hash 

Bubble hash, aka ice water hash, is a type of cannabis concentrate consisting of trichomes that have been separated from the cannabis plant by using ice water, agitation, and a sieve. Budder   

Budder is a cannabis concentrate that looks like and has the consistency of butter. It is a softer concentrate, making it easily spreadable, that can range in color from a light greenish-brown hue to a more golden tone. 

Crumble 

Crumble, aka honeycomb wax, is a form of cannabis concentrate that is dry and somewhat powdery, making it easy to fall apart and crumble, hence its name. It ranges in color from pale to deep yellow. With age, crumble can harden and turn to a more amber color. 

Dabbable Syringe  

A dabbable syringe contains concentrated THC oil that comes prefilled for more exact dosing. Kief

Kief is the most potent part of the cannabis plant. Sometimes called “dry sift” or “pollen,” kief refers to the sticky, crystal-like substance on the cannabis plant called trichomes. Trichomes contain a high concentration of cannabinoids and terpenes. When the trichomes dry and fall off the plant, it is known as kief. Sprinkle kief on flower for a more intense experience or decarb it and use it for infusion purposes.

Shatter

Sugar

Wax 

Wax is a potent form of cannabis concentrate. During the extraction process, the cannabis oil is agitated, causing the oil to crystallize and solidify. It can range in consistency and texture from soft and gooey to hard and flaky and is typically golden to amber tone. 

Types of Oils 

Distillate 

Distillate means the oil is produced by extracting out all other materials and compounds, except one specific cannabinoid, typically THC, from the cannabis flower in order to get a higher potency for that cannabinoid. Botanically-derived and hemp-derived terpenes are added to the cartridge for a flavorful and more discreet experience. Distillate vape cartridges are not strain-specific, offering a more consistent high, which allows users to feel the same effects every time. 

Full-Spectrum

Created by a Canadian man named Rick Simpson when he was diagnosed with basal cell carcinoma, RSO is a full spectrum extract that Simpson used as a topical on his skin cancer. Today, Simpson claims RSO cured him of his cancer, however, this theory has not been independently verified.
