Getting a Temporary Medical Marijuana Card for Visitors in Arkansas

Arkansas welcomes out-of-state medical marijuana patients by offering a special visitor card. This temporary card lets you legally buy and use medical cannabis from licensed dispensaries while visiting the state.

Who Can Apply?

To qualify for an Arkansas visitor medical marijuana card, you need to meet these requirements:

1. Current Medical Marijuana Authorization

2. Recognized Medical Condition

• Upload clear photos of your out-of-state medical marijuana card and government-issued ID from your home state.

Step 3: Pay the Application Fee 

Submit your $50 non-refundable application fee.

Step 4: Wait for Approval 

The review process takes up to 14 days, so apply well before your trip to Arkansas.

Step 5: Print Your Card 

Once approved, you'll receive an email with instructions to log in and print your temporary card.

• You can access your digital visitor’s card immediately online when status shows "ISSUED"

• Click "PDF" button for the correct card (not the pop-up version)

Card Duration Options

90-Day Card 

The standard visitor card is valid for 90 days from the approval date.

30-Day Card
